+ Q. Can I drive with a Japan license?

A. Hawaii law allows you to drive a car with a valid Japanese driver's license for up to one year after entering the country. Please be sure to carry your passport to prove that you have been in Japan for less than one year. However, there are many cases where local police officers cannot recognize the driver's license of the Japan, so it is treated as unlicensed driving. As recommended by the Consulate Japan Honolulu, we strongly recommend that you obtain an international driver's license.

+ Q. Can I drive with only an international license?

A. You can't drive with an international driver's license alone. Be sure to carry your original driver's license issued by the country. In addition, if you rent at our shop, you will also need the contractor's credit card.

+ Q. Can I rent a U.S. driver's license?

A. Yes, you can borrow a U.S. driver's license. In that case, a credit card in the name of the contractor is also required.

+ Q. Is there an age limit?

A. If you are over 21 years old, you can rent a car. However, those between the ages of 21 and 25 will be charged separately due to insurance. ($15 per driver per day)

A. In order to make the rental in front of the hotel smoother, please pay the full amount in advance at the time of booking.

+ Q. Do I need a credit card to pay in cash?

A. Yes, we will make a note of your credit card number as a security deposit when paying in cash, so please present the credit card in your name.

+ Q. When will the cancellation fee be charged?

If you contact us 31 days before the reservation start date: Free cancellation fee
If you contact us at least 30 to 8 days before the reservation start date: 10% of the rental fee
If you contact us between 7 and 4 days before the reservation start date: 30% of the rental fee
If you contact us between 3 and 1 day before the reservation start date: 50% of the rental fee
In case of cancellation or return of the reservation within 24 hours of the date and time of use: 100% of the rental fee
